Breeding and Genetics
The world is a melting pot of various breeds of cows. Some are good to help on the land, like Buffalo's, some are good Meat Cows, Like Belgian Blue cows, some have High Fat levels like Jerseys and some are Top Sport Dairy cows like Frisian Holstein cows.
The project aims to assure access to affordable world class dairy cows that can cope with Nigerian conditions like the heat and deceases.
Several Breeding Centers will be build across Nigeria. At these locations, the locall cows will be used as carriers for embryo's from good quality dairy breeds like Frisian Holstein and Girolando Breeds.
